SUMMER COMMUNITY ED PROGRAMS Summer programs offered through Community Ed include: Book Club Camp grades 7-12, Volleyball Camp grades 1-9, Basketball Camps grades K-12, and Swimming Grades 3-12. Register online or see Mrs.Pioske in the Community Ed Office.


ATHLETIC BANQUET The Athletic Banquet will be held on Wednesday, June 1st at 5:30 pm at Valentini's. Students who lettered are free to attend. Tickets are available for your guests pre-sale and at the door the night of the banquet. The cost per ticket is $25 dollars. If you are planning on attending this event, please sign-up in the Athletics office. Pre-registration is needed for Valentini's to prepare for the evening. Letter winners need to pick up their free tickets from Mrs. Pioske.


SUMMER DRIVERS TRAINING Summer Drivers Training is scheduled for June 20th - July 1st. Class will be held Via Zoom. 9:00-12:00 am Monday-Friday. Cost is $90.00. Students must be at least 15 years old by Dec. 31st 2022. Register online or stop by the Community Ed office to pick up a registration form. Registration deadline is June 13th, 2022.


UPCOMING END OF YEAR EVENTS SENIOR NIGHT - May 18th HS Auditorium at 6:00pm, - BACCALAUREATE - May 25th HS Auditorium at 7:00pm, - ATHLETIC BANQUET - June 1st at Valentini's at 5:30pm, - GRADUATION - HS Auditorium at 7:00pm (Seniors must be here by 6:15pm)


SUMMER SCHOOL GRADES 7-8 Summer School for 7th-8th grade students will be held from JUNE 21ST thru JULY 22ND in the Library. THERE WILL BE NO CLASS JULY 4TH AND 5TH. Sign up in the High School office.


SUMMER SCHOOL - Grade 9-12 Summer School for students in Grades 9-12, who need Credit Recovery, will be held from 8am-1pm,JUNE 6TH thru JUNE 30TH, in the Sr.High Library. Sign up sheet is in the office.


BOYS SUMMER VOLLEYBALL CAMP There will be a boys Volleyball Camp June 6th - 8th. Grade 7-9 will be 4:30-6:30 pm. Grades 10-12 will be 6:30-8:30 pm. Cost is $25.00. Register online or stop by the Community Ed office.


ART WORK Ms. Carroll would like All Art Work Picked Up from the Art Room up May 2oth After May 20th All artwork will be put in recycling. See Ms. Carroll if you have any questions.


SAFETY TOWN Students in grade 7-9 where emailed a copy of the application for Safety Town Helpers. If you are interested, you must fill out the application and get it turn in ASAP.


E-SPORTS CLUB Attention E-Sports Club, due to a shortage of disposable trays students will need to eat their lunch in the cafeteria prior to coming to E-Sports. This will remain in effect for the rest of the year.


YEARBOOK YEARBOOKS are IN! Seniors will be receiving theirs the evening of May 18th. AFTER MAY 18th: ALL STUDENTS CAN PICK UP YOUR YEARBOOK: May 19th Before and After School May 20th Before and After School Ms. Carroll will have her table set up outside the office both days.


LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS After today there are only 11 days left of school. Last day for Students is June 2nd. Last day for teachers and also Graduation, is June 3rd. Teachers, ALL grades are due in the office on June 3rd before noon.


FOOTBALL CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS Football cheerleading tryouts will be held on May 23, 24, and 27th from 5-7 pm in the Chisholm Elementary gym. The 23rd and 24th will be cheer clinic days/practice. The 27th will be tryouts.


FIELD DAY We are going to use our rain day plan for field day. Next Thursday, May 26th, instead of this Thursday. This week looks cold and rainy and spending all day outside would not be very enjoyable! Cold lunch count for the kitchens will be the same for next week--let them know Monday the 23rd if any of your students will be needing a bag lunch from them. I will let the kitchen know we are changing our date! Let's hope that we can get some warmer weather and sunshine for our day of fun! Thank you for your patience! Also--I am still looking for someone to take the spot in the press box for field day to announce when students will be going to their events if anyone is willing!


COLOR GUARD "We are interested in starting a color guard to perform with the marching band in the Doc Graham Days Parade this summer. Color guard members spin flags and add a visual element to the marching band performance. If you are interested, please email Mr. Freitas ASAP".


FREE BOOKS The library is eliminating a majority of the the non-fiction books. All discarded books will be available for staff and students to browse until the last week of school. Due to the large volume of books being pulled, the selection will change daily. Please stop by regularly to see if there are any copies that interest you or your families.


BASEBALL - LEGION TRYOUTS Tryout for this years Legion Baseball team are on Sunday May 22nd @ 7:00pm at the Al Nyberg Field in Hibbing. Tryouts are open to anyone with a birthdate of 2003 or later. Contact Logan at 218-966-6969 with questions.


Close Up Sophomores and Juniors, if you would like to apply for Close Up for 2022- 20232 please fill out the application you received in your school email by the end of the day on Wednesday, May 25. If you have any questions, stop by, email, or call Mrs. Fleming.


SUMMER WEIGHT ROOM All Chisholm students entering grades 7-12 who are interested in participating in the free Summer Strength and Conditioning program please stop by room 209 and pick up information and a permission slip.


CHECK AND CONNECT - KEY CLUB FUNDRAISER Check and Connect and keyclub have joined together to raise items and funds for Precious Paws and Regional Animal Rescue. Donations will be taken until May 31st. in Mrs. Croutteau's office.


CHECK AND CONNECT DODGEBALL Check and Connect will be having a Dodgeball Tournament on June 8th at 1pm Teams can sign up in Abbey's Office. Sign up by June 2nd. There will be food and drinks provided. Limit players to 15 per team
